Felicity Hwee-Hwa Chan

Felicity Hwee-Hwa Chan is an Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She teaches urban sociology and planning. Felicity’s research interest lies at the intersections of the formation of social life in cities, global immigration and the planning/design of the urban built environment. Felicity has worked as a physical planner with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore, received her Master in Urban Planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and her PhD from the Sol Price School of Public Policy, University of Southern California in 2013. In 2014, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity in Gӧttingen, Germany. Felicity is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners since 2007.
